LANCHANG – EON presented a RM5,000 cheque to the Kuala Gandah National Elephant Conservation Centre in Pahang to support the sanctuary’s efforts.
This was part of the two-day road trip getaway-themed “EON and Sahabat Media Getaway 2024” event, held in conjunction with EON’s 40th anniversary celebration.
The centre is home to a herd of 25 elephants, each weighing up to 150kg and consuming a significant amount of local food such as bananas, papayas and grass daily.
