Customer experience elevated through a transformed, modernised 3S centre
KUALA LUMPUR, 10 December 2025 — Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON), Malaysia’s largest multi-car brand dealership and a subsidiary of DRB-HICOM Berhad, today launched its state-of-the-art EON Proton Flagship 3S Centre in Damansara, setting a new benchmark for customer experience and service innovation.
The flagship centre, strategically located along the Damansara-Puchong Expressway in the heart of Damansara’s prime automotive district, stands as EON’s most advanced Proton 3S centre to date. The 11,464-square feet showroom is designed to display 11 vehicles in total, comprising eight Proton internal combustion engine (“ICE”) models and three Proton e.MAS electric vehicles (“EV”).
Adjoining the showroom is a 13,186 square feet after-sales and technical facility equipped to serve the full Proton range, including dedicated infrastructure for EV maintenance, comprising:
- 16 service bays
- 11 hoisted bays for Proton ICE vehicles
- 2 dedicated hoisted bays for Proton e.MAS EVs
- 1-wheel alignment bay
- 1 ADAS calibration bay
- A dedicated EV battery room
- A 22kW AC charger available for workshop and customer use.
The centre also offers customers an immersive experience with vibrant, curated display zones, and integrated service counters, complemented by a sophisticated lifestyle lounge, dedicated kids’ corner as well as private consultation rooms for personalised engagement.
The launch was officiated by Akkbar Danial, Chief Executive Officer of EON who is also DRB-HICOM Berhad Head of Automotive Distribution. Also present at the ceremony were Zhao Le, Head of Sales Proton e.Mas, Proton New Energy Sdn. Bhd, as well as other members of EON, PROTON and DRB-HICOM management.
Speaking at the launch, Akkbar said the opening of the Damansara flagship centre marks a significant milestone in the company’s retail transformation journey.
“This flagship centre underscores our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the evolution of Malaysian mobility. For over forty years, EON has stood shoulder to shoulder with PROTON. Today, we step confidently into the next chapter, one that is powered by our push for electrification and continuous improvement in customer experience,” he said.
CELEBRATING A LEGACY OF DRIVING PROGRESS
At the heart of the new flagship centre is the showroom for the Proton e.MAS range, the national automaker’s first electric vehicle. The dedicated EV experience centre allows customers to engage with the technology, design, and innovation behind PROTON’s bold shift towards cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable mobility.
“The new showroom redefines automotive retail with a customer-first philosophy at its core. As a whole, the innovative concept at Proton EON Damansara Flagship 3S Centre reflects a commitment to blending convenience, comfort, and technology by setting a new benchmark for automotive excellence in Malaysia,” Akkbar said.
He said this is fully aligned with Malaysia’s push toward carbon-neutrality and sustainable transport solutions, adding that: “As we embrace electric mobility, we are also embracing a larger purpose which is to contribute meaningfully to Malaysia’s green agenda.”
During the ceremony, EON also announced the EON Dream Car Giveaway 2025 winner. The grand prize winner, selected from thousands of eligible participants who booked their vehicles through EON and successfully secured loan approval during the campaign period, was Nuurul Adibah Binti Mansor.
Launched in conjunction with the EON & Sahabat Autofest 2025 in August 2025, the Dream Car Giveaway offered customers the chance to win a Dream Car with a RM100,000.00 sponsorship by EON towards their next vehicle purchase.
