EON Asset Management System by Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON) and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as “us” or “EON”) provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal and system-related information. We fully respect and protect your privacy and have developed this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) for your understanding.

This Policy applies only to the EON Asset Management System and its related services (hereinafter referred to as “the system”). It does not apply to products or services offered by third parties through the system. You should review those third-party terms and privacy policies separately.

    This data is used for security, authentication, system performance monitoring, and legal compliance.

1.2 User Authentication and Access

We may collect the following information for login and verification:

  • Full Name

  • Phone Number

  • Email Address

  • Password (system login)

  • Company/Department Name

  • Role or Position

Alternatively, dynamic login via phone number and one-time SMS code may be used.

1.3 Asset Management & Task Functions

When you use the system to manage assets, we may collect and process:

  • Asset details (e.g., type, status, lifecycle data)

  • Task information (e.g., maintenance schedules, reminders)

  • User actions related to asset updates, modifications, and follow-ups

This ensures accurate record-keeping, compliance, and timely reminders.

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Authenticate users

  • Store preferences

  • Track service usage

  • Prevent fraudulent access

  • Request data deletion (when legally permitted)

6. Children’s Privacy

The EON Asset Management System is intended strictly for authorized personnel such as asset managers, administrators, and assigned staff. It is not designed for underage users.

All data is stored on AVM cloud servers in Malaysia. If cross-border transfer is necessary, it will comply with relevant Malaysian laws.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated prominently. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
